Accomodations

The closest city to the farm is Medford, Wisconsin (about a 15/20 minute drive). There are a variety of small hotels in Medford, such as the AmericInn (http://www.americinn.com/Hotels/WI/Medford). We will provide a shuttle to/from the wedding from Medford, although having a car always makes things easier.

Alternatively, feel free to come and camp either in the barn (which has been recently renovated, and has a nice second floor, bathroom and kitchen), or on farm grounds.

Finally, if you are searching for a fancier place, close to the airport in Wausau, WI there are many options. See for instance, the Jefferson Street Inn (http://www.jeffersonstreetinn.com/). We won't have a shuttle from Wausau to Athens, however, so a car would be needed for this option.

Transportation to the farm

The closest airport to Athens, WI is CWA (Central Wisconsin Airport), which is approximately a 40 minute drive to the farm. The next closest and major airport in the area is Minneapolis (MSP) (approximately 2.5 hours drive). If you are flying and need to be picked up from CWA please let us know as soon as you can. Alternatively, we are happy to put those flying in touch if they want to set up ride shares from CWA or Minneapolis. Let us know if you have any other questions on transportation!
